FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Live workouts are currently TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS at 8PM EST but many of our clients watch them on their own later at a time that works for them. All workouts are recorded and available for replay 2 hours after the livestream. All workouts are hosted on Zoom, so they can be accessed from a phone, computer, or tablet.
All of our workouts are scalable, meaning all levels of athletes can participate at their level of strength and endurance. Modifications are offered for fencers with mobility or joint issues or for those newer to fitness. Make sure to let Coach Liz know if you are working around particular medical or orthopedic issue.
TUESDAY HEMAFit is designed for all levels of fencers and is a blend of interval training, strength, mobility, and stability work.
THURSDAY HEMAFit is slightly more advanced (geared towards fencers with some fitness or sports background) and focuses to a greater degree on strength and power but is also open to all levels of fencers.
I encourage you to try both classes as they are complimentary and focus on slightly different areas!
TUESDAYS: No equipment is required, although purchase of a set of mini loop resistance bands ($5 or less) is suggested.
We recommend a set of bands like these.
THURSDAYS: A set of light and medium weights is recommended.
